How to Create a Comic Book

This guide walks you through the full comic creation process — from selecting source material to exporting a finished PDF.

Prerequisites

A Sojen world with a story arc or canon entries to use as source material
Entity images generated for key characters (optional but recommended for better results)

Build your source material — Make sure you have a story arc with chapters and canon, or individual canon entries ready to adapt. The richer the source, the better the comic.
Go to the Media tab — Select the Comic app from the media options.
Select source material — Choose your story arc or canon entries as the starting point for the comic.
Review the treatment — The AI generates a treatment: a structured breakdown of pages and panels with descriptions of visuals, narration, and dialogue.
Refine the treatment — Use the chat assistant to adjust pacing, reorder scenes, change dialogue, or modify panel descriptions before generating visuals.
Generate frames — Click Generate Frames. The AI creates visual panels based on the treatment and your entity images.
Customize individual frames — Edit narration and dialogue, regenerate images for specific panels, and adjust layouts as needed.
Export as PDF — Download the completed comic book as a PDF for sharing or printing.
