What Is Sojen
Sojen is a platform for building story worlds.
You organize your world into entities (characters, locations, objects, concepts), canon (events, lore, backstory), and stories (structured narratives with chapters). From that structured foundation, you can generate media — comic books, codex documents, Discord experiences, and more.
What it does
Sojen gives you a single workspace where world-building and media creation happen together. Instead of keeping notes in scattered documents, you build an interconnected knowledge base that AI can read, reference, and turn into finished outputs.
When to use it
- You want to create a comic book from a story you have been developing
- You are building a tabletop RPG campaign and need consistent lore, character sheets, and handouts
- You are writing fiction and want to track characters, timelines, and plot threads in one place
- You are responsible for educational or tourism content and need structured, exportable documents
How to use it
- Create a story world — Start a new 'world' from the dashboard.
- Add your building blocks — Create entities, canon entries, and stories
- Connect everything — You can link entities to canon, assign canon to timelines, organize everything into categories
- Generate media — Your AI Assistant can generate media that will appear in the Media tab. This can include short pieces of fiction, handouts, treatments, podcast scripts or other materials
- Engage your community — Connect Discord so people can chat with your characters
Tips and best practices
- There is no single correct starting point — begin with characters, events, or an AI brainstorm session
- Start simple and expand as your story world grows; you do not need everything up front
- Use the AI Assistant early to explore ideas before committing to structure
